** The modern vampire is a thing of the past: virally infected, deformed, whitened, mutated: a creature resulting from disease but mistreated and poorly described by mystical people. Humans tend to lie and embellish. The modern vampire is a physical phenomenon in a demystified world but still a freak, a danger and someone more than just a victim or outside. The vampire hates herself and others fear her.
Some of her kind kill for sport or from bitterness, others prefer corrupt work and delight in the vices of man. She's unlike them and seeks only for peace or a cure...
